Lloyds Banking Group has announced an extra 55 branches are set to close by next year. Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland, which are all part of the Lloyds Banking Group, have already reduced the amount of physical branches in recent years, as younger customers opt to bank online rather than coming into the store.
