Ukraine’s bill to ban the Russian Orthodox Church and its affiliated organizations has caused very serious controversy within the Servant of the People party, according to the RBC-Ukraine article. The pro-presidential Servant of the People faction was an active opponent of the church bill, although it was originally initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
