TAMPA, Fla. \- The Wastewater Department has initiated emergency repairs on a broken sewer mainline pipe and road depression on N MacDill Ave between W Spruce and W Walnut Streets. As a result, the inside northbound and southbound lanes are closed effective immediately. Barricades and signage are in place to direct traffic and detour motorists around the affected area. Residents and businesses will still have access. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and exercise caution when driving in the area.
