Staff and students at Hockerill Anglo-European College spent World Book Day focusing on reading for enjoyment and celebrating reading in all its forms. There were special assemblies throughout the week for all year groups and serialised story instalments recorded by Year 12 reading mentors, which were played during form times. Every lunchtime, the Reading Nook was open for students who wanted to listen to a member of staff reading from a favourite book.
