Several reports claimed that Vivo might announce the Vivo X200 series of smartphones this October in China. The latest leaks suggest that in addition to the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, there may be another model, tentatively called the Vivo X200 Mini. A reliable informant at Digital Chat Station revealed today the camera specs of the upcoming phone, which is powered by Dimensity 9400. It looks like he may be talking about Vivo X200 Pro. Here are the details that appeared in the latest leak.

Vivo X200 Pro camera specifications (rumored)

The aforementioned DCS post on Weibo suggests that the Vivo X200 Pro will receive significant improvements in its camera system. The main camera will be equipped with a new 50-megapixel Sony sensor manufactured using a 22nm process.

As a reminder, the Sony IMX989 sensor, which was installed on Vivo X100 Pro, was manufactured on a 40-nm node. Although the new CMOS sensor is slightly smaller at 1/1.28 inches, the larger f/1.57 aperture will allow more light to enter, improving overall image quality.

It is also reported that the rear camera of Vivo X200 Pro will be equipped with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, similar to the one used in Vivo X100 Ultra. This lens will be equipped with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor with an aperture of f/2.67.

Although not mentioned in the leak, it looks like the camera will also feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. In addition, the phone will reportedly feature in-house developed image processing chips that enhance the software and hardware to deliver superior photography performance.

According to other reports, the Vivo X200 Pro will have a 6.7-inch OLED panel with micro curvature and ultra-thin bezels. It is expected to have a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is also expected to be equipped with a massive 6,000 mAh battery.
