A Bergen County firehouse was damaged Monday evening after an SUV crashed into it, fire officials said. The SUV crashed into Ridgefield Fire Company 1 located on Broad Avenue shortly after 6 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Ridgefield Fire Department. Crews arrived at 6:10 p.m. and found the vehicle smoking, with its front end sticking into the front of the building. It caused significant damage, the department said.
