A 10-year-old girl and a woman have been taken to hospital after they were hit by a car. The incident happened on the A230 Horsted Way, Chatham at about 6.15pm yesterday. The woman and child were taken to a London hospital by paramedics. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Horsted Way was closed at both ends of the road following the incident. Arriva bus services were among the vehicles to be rerouted.
