Matt Afflerbach says one of his biggest fears is suddenly finding County Route 622 closed on his ride home from work. That’s where the Ewan Mill Dam is located and he fears a blocked road will signal the start of dismantling an aging dam and the end of the 204-year-old lake next to his home.
