(The Center Square) – Illinois prison officials must transfer most people incarcerated at Stateville Correctional Center to other Illinois prisons by Sept. 30, according to an order from a federal judge. A state senator raised concerns about some of them being released by a parole board. The case was originally filed in 2013.
