Throw on your tea dress and get ready to lindy hop as you return to the 1940s for retro festival. The Kent and East Sussex Railway in Tenterden is throwing its annual 1940s Weekend where visitors can pick up an identity card and expect lots of throwback sights and sounds, including living history displays, swing music and vintage stalls. While the festival activities will take place at the station, the trains will also be up and running throughout the weekend.
