A free family-friendly event is set to travel back in time to explore ancient history. Collingham’s heritage will be explored at the event, hosted by Newark and Sherwood District Council’s Open Doors scheme, in partnership with Collingham and District Local History Society. On Saturday, January 20, attendees will travel back in time to discover the early history of the village, including pre-history, Saxons and Romans, between 10am and 4pm at the Collingham Youth and Community Centre.
