A cycle shop has taken its fundraising efforts up a gear. A youngster’s efforts to support autism charity, Prior’s Court, has been backed by a Newbury-based business. Banjo Cycles presented the charity with £1,500 worth of bicycles and helmets for use by its young people. The sum was raised by Ethan Tury, who ran a 5k challenge event with his family and friends when he was 12. His brother, James Tury, is on a residential placement at Prior’s Court and his family wanted the funds to go towards new bikes.
