Staff from Stansted Airport took time out of their busy work schedules to volunteer and spruce up an orchard for a charity’s apple-themed fundraising event. Armed with gardening tools and a can-do attitude, the team spent the day pruning, weeding and cleaning the site in the grounds of St Elizabeth’s Centre at Perry Green in preparation for its Applefest 2024 event on Saturday September 28.
