New Jersey will begin implementing additional measures to prevent bias in property appraisals as it looks to stop discriminatory practices in the residential real estate market, officials said Friday. The state Attorney General’s Office announced its Home Appraisal Discrimination Initiative, created to address inequities in property sales in communities of color.
