Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy will not practice on Monday due to knee soreness, head coach Kevin O’Connell announced. McCarthy played in the Vikings preseason opener over the weekend, completing 11 of 17 passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
