A woman will be part of an Iranian refereeing team at a men’s football match for the first time on Wednesday. State news agencies IRNA and ISNA reported that Mahsa Ghorbani will be used as a video assistant referee (VAR) for the Tehran derby between Esteghlal and Persepolis.
