Johnny Bowens III, a former defensive lineman at Oregon, has announced his commitment to UTSA out of the NCAA Transfer Portal. Bowens shared the selection of his next team in a post on social media on Friday. Bowens appeared in three games last year in his lone season as a Duck. Bowens only recorded statistics in their opener with two tackles during their 81-7 victory over Portland State. He also saw snaps in the 55-10 win against Hawaii and the 63-19 conference outcome against California.
