ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia has its fifth win of the season after taking down Mississippi State 41-31. The Bulldogs controlled much of the game but couldn’t build on a 24-point third quarter lead. Carson Beck completed a career high 36 passes on 48 attempts for 459 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. The 459 yards is also a career high for the fifth year quarterback. Arian Smith caught five passes and set a career high in receiving yards with 134. He also had a touchdown.
