The four crew members of a Taiwanese fishing boat who had been detained by China for over 40 days were released on Tuesday, according to Taiwan’s state-run Central News Agency. The Taiwanese fishing vessel Da Jin Man No 88 was seized by Chinese authorities near the Taiwan-held island of Kinmen on July 2, with China accusing the boat of violating a fishing ban.
