Per a report by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Mississippi State will host Pittsburgh on December 4th at Humphrey Coliseum as part of the 2024 SEC/ACC Challenge. That meeting will mark the first-ever regular-season meeting between Mississippi State and Pittsburgh. The two programs have met two times previously and both came in postseason play. In the most recent meeting, Pittsburgh edged Mississippi State 60-59 in the First Four game of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
