By James Brinsford One of the original Gladiators stars from the 90s has insisted that he is still fit enough to be a part of the reboot and has slammed the BBC for overlooking him. Mike Van Wijk, who played Wolf in the original series, has said that the BBC should have taken up his offer to be part of the revamped show, and at 71 years of age, still had plenty to offer. The star has maintained his gruelling fitness training over the decades since the Gladiators was last a primetime show.
