One female victim was killed and another was critically injured on Wednesday in a shooting in Middlesex County, officials said. The victims were shot on Roosevelt Avenue in Carteret, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. Authorities did not say what time of day the incident happened.
