Nordic combined World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber defeated defending champion Johannes Lamparter of Austria to win the event in Oberstdorf, Germany on Saturday. Norway’s Riiber jumped 105 metres for a total of 146.4 points and finished the first round in second, starting the cross country portion 0.04 seconds behind Austria’s Thomas Rettenegger.
