The upcoming Moto G85 has recently received several certificates. In particular, the Hi-Res Audio certificate revealed four model numbers: XT2427-1, XT2427-2, XT2427-3 and XT2427-4, which correspond to the regional variants of G85. Now the certification platforms TENAA (China) and BIS (India) have approved the Chinese (XT2427-4) and Indian (XT2427-3) variants of the Moto G85, which means it won’t be long before it becomes official. While the BIS listing didn’t reveal any important details, the TENAA listing revealed the device’s key specifications.

Moto G85 specifications (rumored)

According to TENAA’s listing, the Moto G85 will have a 6.6-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution. Leaked renders of the device showed that it will have a screen with curved edges. The images also showed that it will be available in at least three colors: black, green, and blue.

TENAA claims that the device is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. However, a previously seen Geekbench listing showed that it could come with the upcoming Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset. In China, it will be offered with various RAM options, including 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 18GB, as well as 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. However, all of these options may not be available at launch.

The TENAA certificate indicates that Moto G85 can be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. However, there is no information about its fast charging capabilities. The camera setup includes a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It will also be equipped with a fingerprint sensor under the display.

The dimensions of the Moto G85 are 161.9 x 73 x 7.5 mm and it weighs 171 grams. However, images of the phone are not yet available on the TENAA listing.
