Rail services were stopped after a person was hit by a train. The incident happened between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells earlier this afternoon. All services between these stations were stopped while emergency services dealt with the tragedy. Southeastern bosses said commuters could expect delays until 8.30pm, but some trains began running at 5.45pm. No trains were able to call at Frant, Wadhurst, Stonegate, Etchingham, Robertsbridge, Battle, Crowhurst, or West St Leonards.
