A popular pub is set to reopen after undergoing a £190,000 refurbishment project. The Robert Pocock, in Gravesend, will be welcoming punters to the new-look boozer tomorrow (August 12) at 8am. The pub, in Windmill Street, which first opened as a Wetherspoon in July 1998, has undergone ground-floor internal works to improve the seating area. Carpet repairs have taken place and works to upgrade the coffee station and heating and cooling equipment in the customer area and pub kitchen have taken place.
