Jersey City’s massive Bayfront development plan on banks of the Hackensack River is receiving a million-dollar boost. Mayor Steve Fulop and the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency (JCRA) announced Tuesday that $1.6 million in federal funds has been earmarked for the residential project that will turn 100-acre site into most the affordable housing of any private mixed-use, mixed-income community of its size in the country.
