China has joined the chorus of countries concerned about Israel’s operations in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, saying Israel should “cease its military operations as soon as possible.” The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that Israel needs to do everything it can to prevent a major humanitarian catastrophe.
