Labour Party lawmakers in the South-East, under the aegis of South-East Labour Party House of Assembly Caucus, have called for the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu has been in detention since 2021, after he was arrested in Kenya by the Federal Government and repatriated to Nigeria to face trial.
