Hisense has announced a new model of laser TV Starlight S1 Pro Laser TV in China. The new TV is available in four different sizes, each with panels of different brightness. The 75-inch model has 450 nits of brightness, the 80-inch model has 450 nits, the 88-inch model has 400 nits, and the 100-inch model has 410 nits.
Hisense Starlight S1 Pro uses a proprietary three-color digital laser engine LPU based on an RGB three-color laser. The TV panel supports 150% DCI-P3 color coverage and has a DeltaE value of 0.9. In addition, the TV panel can reproduce 10-bit color. The TVs also have a coating that prevents light reflection. In terms of sound, the TVs are equipped with a Harman Kardon sound system and support DTS and Dolby Atmos.
The 75-inch model has 2 15W speakers and 2 additional 8W speakers. The 80, 88 and 100-inch models are equipped with 2 x 15W speakers, 2 x 8W speakers and a 60W subwoofer. In addition, the Hisense Starlight S1 Pro is powered by a MediaTek MT9649 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Prices for the 75, 80, 88 and 100-inch models in China are CNY 9999, CNY 10999, CNY 16999 and CNY 26999, respectively.
The newly introduced TVs are quite premium when you consider that the 75-inch base model costs approximately $1,380 in China.
