The suspect in a July 9 shooting in Wildwood has been taken into custody, and a second man has been charged with hindering apprehension, local officials said Friday. William C. Hoyle, 40, of Wildwood turned himself into authorities in Camden County on July 11 and was charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault and weapons offenses, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday.
