The US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Tuesday said that, together with a “coalition vessel,” it destroyed two unmanned aerial systems (UAS) launched from an areas of Yemen controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi militia. “It was determined these weapons presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and U.S. Navy ships,” the Central Command statement said.
