By Imogen Clyde-Smith & Charlie Duffield A mother has revealed her heartbreak after her “beautiful and happy” son suddenly died of an undiagnosed eating disorder that left him extremely malnourished. Alfie Anthony Nicholls, who had autism and was nonverbal, sadly died at the age of seven following a cardiac arrest. This week an inquest into his death was held at South Manchester Coroner’s Court in Stockport.
