Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) appeared on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox Business show on Sunday to defend her efforts to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) last week. During the interview, Greene told Bartiromo that she would have happily backed off her crusade to ouster Johnson on the condition that he defund special counsel Jack Smith’s criminal cases into former President Donald Trump. “I asked Mike Johnson this week, I said, ‘look, if you’ll defund Jack Smith, then I’ll reconsider this motion to vacate,'” Greene told the Fox Business host.
