Along with the launch of the Honor 200 Series smartphones worldwide, the brand also introduced a new laptop. This is the Honor MagicBook Pro 16, which first debuted at MWC in February this year and went on sale in China the following month. The device has a premium design and powerful specifications. As for the display, the MagicBook Pro 16 features a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The display has slim bezels that are only 2.36 mm thick and has a screen-to-body ratio of 93 percent. It also supports 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR 400, 500 nits peak brightness, and dynamic dimming technology. In terms of sound, the device is equipped with six speakers, including four subwoofers and two tweeters. This is the first Windows-based laptop with spatial sound.
Under the hood of the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 is an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. There is an integrated Intel Arc GPU on board. The device is equipped with a heat dissipation system. The laptop offers two modes of operation – a powerful 65W mode that maximizes processor power and a 50W intelligent mode for balanced performance. The 75 Wh battery provides up to 12 hours of operation on a full charge.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 runs on Windows with MagicRing, which makes it easy to transfer and synchronize tasks and notifications between devices. There are also some AI-based features on board.
The price of Honor MagicBook Pro 16 in France starts at €1,299.99. It is available in white and purple colors. The laptop will be available in some markets, with prices varying by region.
