Former US president Donald Trump has reached the required number of delegates for the Republican presidential nomination, according to a count by US broadcasters CNN and NBC following his victory in the Washington State primary. Trump passed the mark of 1,215 delegates needed and will, in all likelihood, run against Democratic incumbent Joe Biden in the presidential election on November 5.
