A man has been left with serious injuries after being punched from behind following a football cup final at the weekend. Police were called to Norwich Road in Dereham on Friday following reports of an assault after the Norfolk Junior Cup final clash between Watlington Sports and Social Club and Dersingham Rovers. The incident occurred at around 9.45pm when the victim was approached from behind by a man who punched him on the back of the head.
