By Bradley Jolly Today was officially the hottest day of the year as temperatures exceeded 21C in two places, the Met Office has tonight told the Mirror. A glorious 21.5C was recorded in both St James Park in central London and Northolt in the west of the capital today. The mercury also exceeded 20C on Thursday in Norfolk and is likely to do so tomorrow, the Met Office said.
