A man has been banned from driving for a year and a half and fined nearly £600 after driving at nearly double the alcohol limit. Joseph Pentney, 26, of Nayland Road, Bures, was stopped by Sudbury Community Policing Team officers at 10.28pm on May 5 due to the manner of his driving. After failing the test he was arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he failed another breath test, providing a sample of 69 micograms in 100ml of breath.
