Basingstoke and Deane has chosen its new mayor for the coming year. Dan Putty was made mayor at a ceremony at the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s Civic Offices on the evening on Thursday, May 9. Mr Putty previously served as mayor in 2013 to 2014, and has served as a borough councillor for the Hatch Warren and Beggarwood ward since 1995.
