A woman will be attempting to swim across the English Channel in order to raise money for a Newbury mental health charity. Kathy Stevenson hopes to take on the monumental challenge in July, and she is asking people to donate to her fundraiser in order to support Eight Bells for Mental Health. She has already raised nearly £1,000 of her £2,000 target, and has completed several long-distance swims in preparation for the final challenge which she hopes to do on July 10.
