A light-fingered thief helped themselves to a wallet after spotting an open window at a home in Newbury. The incident happened around 6.45am on Saturday (August 10). Thames Valley Police said the burglar targeted a home in Porchester Road. Spotting the gap in the window, they took £20 from the wallet. Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could help their investigation to come forward.
