An environmental group has called for a development to be halted over flood risk. Protect Newark’s Green Spaces is calling on Newark and Sherwood District Council to halt development plans at Lowfield Lane, in response to flood risk to the site. The council’s development company, Arkwood, is proposing to build 151 homes on fields at Lowfield Lane, which borders a wildlife site.
