In our weekly Schooldays Memories feature we look back at a children’s author visit in September 2002… Youngsters from Swaffham First School and the Sacred Heart School were kept entranced by stories from former children’s television presenter Toni Arthur, in September 2002. Toni, an author, actress and drama lecturer, who used to present Playaway – the BBC children’s programme – with Brian Cant, held two storytelling workshops at the first school as part of Swaffham Arts Week.
