A 29-year-old woman has been sentenced after assaulting a man who did not want to have a fight. Jessica Woods, of no fixed address, appeared at Lynn Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, where she pleaded guilty to assault. She committed the offence on December 12 at a property in Lynn. Prosecutor Nicola Lamb said that police were called after a man was assaulted in his home. Woods and her partner were standing outside the property when her partner asked the victim to come outside, instigating a fight.
