Little Hallingbury’s Gaston House will once again be opening its doors to the public to raise money for the British Red Cross on Sunday (June 23). The 18th-century Georgian mansion is set within six acres (2.4ha) of parkland with an ornate pond area and large herbaceous borders and every year welcomes visitors to its open garden to support the charity which helps people in crisis. Tea and cake will be served by the pond. The gardens are open 2-5pm, entrance is £6, children go free. All funds raised will help the British Red Cross to continue their vital work both in the UK and overseas.
