Newark cyclist Isabel Darvill scored an impressive 14th place in the prestigious Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix Women’s Race on Sunday morning. Racing for the UCI Registered Doltcini-O’Shea Women’s Continental Cycling Team against the cream of the UK’s female riders, Darvill stayed near the front in a race that was full gas throughout in sunny conditions with a slight wind. The route included a climb of the 20% gradient and the cobbled Michaelgate eight times in the 64-mile race.
