A serious minibus crash has left 17 people injured in West Yorkshire, which led to a major road being shut for a number of hours. National Highways: Yorkshire reported that the A1 had been closed northbound between Junction 40 at Darrington and Junction 41 at the M62 following the collision. West Yorkshire Police said a crash had taken place involving a minibus and two other vehicles. As a result, seventeen people were taken to hospital, with all emergency services attending the scene.
