A groundbreaking study has revealed that regular aspirin use can significantly reduce the risk of “one of the worst cancers”. Researchers from University Hospital Southampton and the University of Southampton found that aspirin cut the risk of pancreatic cancer by 40 per cent in diabetics and 20 per cent in the general population. The study, funded by the PLANETS cancer charity, analysed data from nearly 10,000 participants in the UK Biobank.
