Two robbery suspects have been charged after a pensioner was attacked in a town centre. Police were called following a report a man and woman had approached an elderly woman, who was in her 90s, and grabbed her handbag before punching the victim. The incident happened between 1pm and 1.10pm in Rainham High Street on Monday. It’s alleged after the victim’s handbag was grabbed, she fought back to keep hold of it and was then punched in the face by the female suspect.
